| Adron Ashley Shadduck, the
son of Millard Berkley Shadduck and Mary Catherine Shadduck, was born on
4 Sept 1930 in Republic, KS. He passed away on 11 Jun 2000 at the
University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE at the age of 69.
Adron grew up in Republic, KS and graduated from Republic High School. He served in the US Air Force from January 1951 through October 1954. He married Judith Ann Basart on 7 Sept 1958 in Mankato, KS. This union was blessed with 2 children, Alan Dale and Kimberly Kaye. Adron retired from the Kansas Dept of Transportation, December 1992, after 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also did volunteer work for the Cardiac Rehab Center at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, a stepfather, Leslie Shadduck and a brother Richard Shadduck. He is survived by his wife, Judith Shadduck; 2 children, Alan Dale Shadduck of Grand Island, NE and Kimberly Kaye McDonald of Topeka, KS; 2 grandchildren, Jessica K. Shadduck and Melanie Marie McDonald; 1 brother, Gerald Shadduck, Lexington, NE; 4 sisters, Margaret Duffey, Belleville, KS, Lois Lundblade, Bonner Springs, KS; Roberta Partridge, Burr Oak, KS and Joyce Poppe, Belleville, KS and a host of other neices, nephews, other relative and friends. |
